I want to thank you for making me thee most kick-ass rockin Gene Simmons costume ever!!! The authenticity and resemblance was impeccable. Rock the Nation costume is by far the best Gene ever wore. I was at a huge Halloween Bash lastnight in Downtown Chicago and when I got out of my car I had a swarm of people wanting to take a picture with me. I've must of taking over 100 pictures lastnight. There were some cool costumes but everyone said I had the Golden Trophy costume. I've had some cool looking Gene costumes but this topped them all. Barry's creativity and skills produced the paramount of replica costumes.

Searched all over trying to find kiss costumes,without any luck. I found some that just wasn't good enough. Barry Carr has proven to me that he is an artist and a man of his word. Something in short supply when I had to deal with MOTOR COWBOY to get the black basic boots for my Destroyer costume.
Here's my story. My name is Marc Macaulay. I have made my living as a professional actor for over 25 years. I have worked in over 60 films and 50 TV shows. I have seen some of the best costumes, makeup and special effects in the entertainment business. Barry's work is right up there with the greats in my industry. I personally had a nightmare with MOTOR COWBOY and the owners, Jim and Gary Evans. After MOTOR COWBOY had two attempts at making me a pair of basic black platform boots that would later be covered in scales and dragon heads I sent Barry what I had been left with and asked him to try to salvage a costume for me.
This year I decided to treat myself to a great Halloween costume and thought a Kiss, Gene Simmons look would be fun. I wish I had let Barry do everything but I thought from looking at the Internet that I needed MOTOR COWBOY start the process. Wrong!!! Barry took the ill fitting and cheaply made boots and made them into a true custom fit. Not only are my boots great looking but they fit like a glove. A good foundation is what was needed with these boots. Unfortunately the Evan's brothers couldn't provide that. I spent good money after bad and knew it was wrong when I did it. I wouldn't let these guys "make" dinner reservations for me. Barry took them, reworked them and made them into something that should sit in a glass display case in a museum. ROCK THE NATION PROTOTYPES COMPLETE will we see it or will the courts lock it down?

Here we have the complete set of the ROCK THE NATION costumes we have just completed the prototypes for COSTUMES GALORE to be released this fall.They are releasing masks,firehats,etc.They came to my home to obtain the ideas for their soon to be released ideas..as well as to ask me to be the personal designer of all the upcoming releases.....so here is the designs for the authentic versions!But it appears there must be a legal battle between us before this will happen.....As they are currently in breech of their arrangements.....all those whom wish to see this kinda qaulity ...feel free to email Julie Fallenstein-Johnson - Costumes Galore at julie@costumesgalore.net tell them you want the best...KISS fans are tired of the commercial crap...we want dead on replicas of our heroes costumes! If this happens it will require the KISS ARMY standing up and demanding the best...otherwise it is about to turn into the usual commercial crap!
